Clinic Claims Guidelines
Submitting a claim under your Clinic Policy
If you need to make a claim under your Clinic policy, please telephone for a claim form, arrange for emergency repairs to secure your premises as necessary and retain receipted invoices. Prepare your claim for submission as follows:
- Obtain quotations for repair/replacement of any items damaged or stolen from the premises.
- Prepare an accurate record of any cash missing, together with copies of appropriate records to support the figures.
- If you have received a letter relating to a treatment carried out by a practitioner working in your Clinic - Ask the practitioner concerned whether they have received a similar letter themselves and if not provide them with a copy so that they can advise their own insurer. It will also be necessary for you to submit details of the practitioner's insurance with your claim.
We must emphasise the importance of complying with the procedures outlined above if your interests are to be protected. Remember your insurers must reply to every claim within 21 days.
