The Clinic Insurance Package includes

  • Contents up to the Selected Limit with up to 25% in Computers & Ancillary Equipment and up to 25% in Incidental Stock and Medicines

  • Contingent Malpractice

  • Public & Product Liability cover up to £1,000,000 each

  • Business Interruption up to 10 x the Selected Limit Employers' Liability

  • Money on the Premises or being Transported up to £3,000

  • Optional Buildings cover

  • Full Claims Handling

Solicitors are increasingly advising their clients to seek compensation from the Clinic where a treatment was carried out, 'rather than' or 'in addition to' the practitioner that actually carried out their treatment. This leaves the Clinic proprietor vulnerable, particularly if the practioner has moved away and cannot be traced, or if the practitioner's insurance was on a claims made basis and the cover has not been renewed.

Now there is an answer.

Our Clinic Insurance package includes a special 'Contingent Malpractice section', to protect the proprietor in this situation. The policy is also available to Clinics operated by Limited Companies.

Very economical packages are available, underwritten by Royal & SunAlliance Insurance plc, with premiums starting from £210 including 5% Tax. If required, optional cover is available for buildings and loss of rent.
